School Music

School Music

We enjoy a wide range of music making in our school from Christmas and Summer productions to weekly music activities.

Pupils in KS2 have the chance to learn how to play:

  • woodwind instruments (clarinet / flute)
  • brass instruments (trumpet / tenor horn)
  • stringed instruments (violin)
  • guitar

We have a well established choir, of over 40 children, who sing in a variety of different festivals and concerts along with a school band.

Young Voices 2016

The school choir all had great fun at Young Voices singing with a choir of over 7000 children in the Manchester Arena. We were so lucky this year as we were on the very front row and could almost touch the band and mixing desk. What a fantastic time!
